What is Animal Assisted Therapy?
Animal Assisted Therapy is a type of therapy that uses the companionship of animals to help people in various ways.  These animals help people with physical, social, emotional, and cognitive functioning. Here at Key Life Directions, we have a Golden Retriever named Caleb who received certification from Assistance Dogs of America, Inc. How soon can you be seen?
Patients wanting to speak with a therapist can normally be seen within one to two weeks, if not sooner. Patients wanting to see the doctor for a medical evaluation may wait longer. All therapy is supervised by our psychiatrist. Patients are encouraged to be placed on our cancellation list in order to receive an earlier appointment.

What type of insurance do we accept?
We are currently accepting Paramount Insurance. If you have other insurance, you still may be able to use it by checking with your insurance company to see if out-of-network benefits are available. If so, fees are rendered at the time of service and you will be given a form to submit to your insurance company.  The insurance company will then reimburse you directly.
