Message from Jill Fox:

Welcome to Key Life Directions, I am Dr. Jill Fox, owner and founder of Key Life Directions. I am a physician and Board Certified Psychiatrist with certification in both Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry. It is my philosophy to treat patients like I would want my loved ones treated. My mission is to help people of all ages thrive and succeed.

I received my degree from The Medical College of Ohio at the Toledo campus, and did my Post medical school education at University Hospital of Cleveland, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. My training includes child and adolescent experience. As a physician I am able to diagnose and develop a course of treatment incorporating medication when necessary.

Since starting my private practice in 1999, I have been a mental health resource for many of the local pediatricians and physicians. I have a great deal of experience in treating patients from the very young to elderly. I especially enjoy working with teenagers. I am currently including some Animal Assisted Therapy in my practice with the assistance of Caleb, my certified therapy dog.

Former patients and families have said:

“I have been grateful for the opportunity to explore “wellness” on many levels.”

“The doctor has been very kind and concerned with our daughter.”

“They take the time to listen and Dr Fox addresses the person directly even if they are a minor. She never judges.”

“Excellent service. The entire staff is competent, caring and compassionate. Meds are correctly given. This practice is an asset to the community.”

“Professional, Unrushed, Approachable”

“Goes above and beyond what is expected.”

I look forward to serving you or your loved one.

God Bless,

Jill Fox, M.D.

Message from Laura Perino:

Let me welcome you to Key Life Directions. As a Clinical Therapist with over 15 years of experience, I have offered hope and healing to people of all ages. I have extensive experience with sexual abuse issues (both victims and offenders), eating disorders, and post-partum depression. My expertise and interest allows me to also specialize in teen and young adult issues.

I attended Bowling Green State University and received a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling in 1993. I went on to gain my independent license for the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor. I provide diagnosis and therapeutic intervention in a warm and compassionate atmosphere.

My patients describe me as:

“Laura has been able to accomplish something with my daughter that five years of prior therapy had not been able to do!”

“We now know what the reason and purpose of therapy is:”

I have specific training and application in crisis intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy. I welcome any new patients and I enjoy working with people in a friendly atmosphere.

Come in and see me.

Message from Doreen Pant:

Warmest Welcome to Key Life Directions!

With compassion and understanding, I can help you build upon your strengths in an encouraging and supportive environment.  Together we can find solutions to happiness and healing and restore balance in your life.

As a clinical therapist, I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, adults and families for over 13 years.  It is so rewarding to help those dealing with ADHD, child behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, and family issues.  I have expertise in foster care, adoption, divorce and blended families, stress and anger management, PTSD and trauma recovery, parenting and women’s issues.  I also have experience running several groups.  I embrace the opportunity to work with caregivers in parenting and ADHD support groups.

I attended the University of Michigan earning my Master’s of Social Work degree in 1995.  I hold a State of Ohio Supervising Independent Social Work License (LISW-S) and have completed the Adoption Certificate Program from Rutger’s University.  I have spent my career working as a therapist and supervisor both in non-profit and limited private sectors.  Additionally, I actively pursue additional therapeutic and diagnostic education and training to enhance skills and gain new research information to assist clients.

I look forward to meeting you today and building better strategies and solutions together for a happier and healthier tomorrow!

Respectfully,
Doreen M. Pant, MSW, LISW-S
Clinical Therapist
